Hackathon Winner 👻 PoolTogether Aave Pool

In October 2020, I created a PoolTogether Pool using the liquidity protocol Aave. PoolTogether Pools generate prize money from the accrued interest of yield protocols; making for a no-loss money lottery. The aptly named Aave Pool indeed uses Aave protocol to generate and pool the yield prize money.

Challenge

This was my first time writing my own smart contract. Before starting to code, I first had to understand how version three of the PoolTogether protocol worked and also how Aave worked in order to integrate them together.

Solution

I educated myself on both protocols by reaching out for advice from community members on Discord and reading documentation provided by Aave and PoolTogether. I also built a DApp for users to join and exit the Aave Pool.
